How do I see the measurements of a board?

1. Click the board in the drawing or in the parts list at the left.
2. Read its size under the name at the top of the right panel: length × width × thickness.
3. The 2D toolbar View › Dimensions shows one size badge on the selected board. A generated board shows its size in the header and its settings below. The Length, Width and Thickness fields exist only for an independent board.

How do I change a board size by hand?

• Independent board: right panel › Length, Width, Thickness. A calculation works: 210-2*1.8.
• Generated board: edit the feature that makes it, in the fold titled Board settings, Move board, Part settings or Furniture.
• Convert to independent board gives the fields; a board with parts built on it refuses.
• A 2D handle on a furniture board resizes the whole piece. A loose board has handles along its length only.

How do I measure from the floor to a shelf?

1. Press R, or the 2D toolbar View › Ruler.
2. Click the floor at Y = 0, then the shelf edge: total, horizontal and vertical.
3. Keep marking saves the line. Click a kept line, then Delete, to remove it. The ruler is 2D only. It snaps to board corners and edges; the 10 mm grid joins when Snap is on (hold Alt to skip it).

How do I move a piece of furniture?

1. Click one of its boards, then Move furniture at the top left of the drawing.
2. Drag a board in 2D, or an axis arrow in 3D. The arrow keys nudge too.
3. Release: one undo step. A red ghost refuses an overlap. Exact numbers: Furniture › Placement.

How do I see the front, the top or 3D?

• Top bar 3D model / 2D plan; keys 0, 1, 2 and 3 give 3D, front, top and side.
• The cube picks a face; in 3D also an edge or the corner.
• 3D: left-drag orbits, right-drag pans, the wheel zooms. 2D: the wheel zooms, Space+drag pans, two fingers move and zoom.
• Fit view in 2D and Fit in 3D fit the model; F does the same in 2D.

How do I see inside, or hide the doors?

• Hide is per piece: the eye in its parts list row, or right-click › Hide module. Isolate module shows one piece; Show all restores. A single board cannot be hidden. Lock module stops changes.
• 3D View › X-ray makes boards translucent, Section cuts, and Exploded view separates and pauses editing above 0%.
• Exclude from cut list sits in Advanced and exists only for an independent board: the board leaves the cut list and stays in the model, faded.

How do I select more than one board?

Ctrl/Cmd+click adds or drops one board. A drag over empty space in 2D boxes the boards that fit fully inside it; Shift adds them. View › Select several boxes even when the drag starts on a board.

How do I find a command or a shortcut?

Ctrl/Cmd+K opens Commands. ? opens Keyboard shortcuts. A right-click on a board opens its own menu.

How do I undo what the assistant did?

Undo in the right-click menu or Ctrl/Cmd+Z, Redo or Ctrl+Shift+Z. Each assistant change is one step.

How do I delete a board or a piece?

Select it, then Delete, or Delete at the bottom of the right panel. A whole piece shows Delete furniture there. Deleting a generated board removes its feature and the boards built on it, and the app asks first when more goes.

Where are the tools on a phone?

Add in the top bar opens the parts list as a drawer; a left swipe closes it. At 720 px or less the right panel is a bottom sheet: one bar names the selection and its issues, and a tap opens the fields. Undo and redo float over the drawing.

Facts

• Units sets mm, cm or in; the model keeps millimetres.
• Snap is 10 mm (6.35 mm in inches). The arrow keys nudge 1 mm, or 10 mm with Shift (1/8 in and 1 in in inches).
• X, Y and Z of a board are its centre. Y = 0 is the floor.
• Hide, isolate, lock, X-ray, Section and Exploded view never change the cut list.
• A turned piece (90°, 180°, 270°) offers no resize handle.

What the assistant does itself

• It answers sizes, distances and clear gaps from its own reading of the geometry, changes boards with its own tools, and counts sheets when asked. Each change it makes is one undo step in the same model.
• It cannot click, select, hide, move the camera, download, print, or see the Plan, Cut and Assemble screens. Give the user the path above instead.
