Optimize the sheets you can actually buy
Enter part dimensions and quantities, then describe the stock you have: sheet size, material, thickness, how many you own and cost per unit. The optimizer compares guillotine strategies and reports sheets used, waste area, cut count and unfitted parts.
The result is built for review, not for a single headline number. Each sheet shows its placed parts, labels and numbered cut operations so you can sanity-check the plan before the blade touches anything.
The settings that move the result
An optimizer is only useful when it describes your shop:
- Kerf: 2.5–3.5 mm on a shop saw, 4–5 mm on an industrial beam saw. Skip it and the last part in a strip will not fit.
- Edge trim: discard a few millimetres per side when sheets arrive damaged.
- Grain: lock direction per part so fronts do not end up rotated.
- Priority: max yield when material is expensive, fewer cuts when saw time is.
- Cut orientation: horizontal, vertical or mixed, so big parts stay manageable.
- Stack identical parts when you cut repeats in a pile.
Import and export your cut list
Import parts from CSV when the project starts in a spreadsheet. Export the optimized result as CSV, SVG, PNG or a printable PDF report for the shop floor or the supplier.
Projects are saved locally, so you can reopen one when stock sizes, quantities or priorities change and re-optimize in seconds.

Frequently asked questions
What kerf value should I use?
Measure the blade you will actually run. Shop table saws are usually 2.5–3.5 mm; industrial panel saws 4–5 mm. When unsure, round up — you lose a little material instead of a part.
Does it produce guillotine cuts only?
Yes. Every pass runs edge to edge across the sheet or the strip, which is how a panel saw or a track saw works. That is what makes the numbered order followable.
Can I import a CSV cut list?
Yes. Import parts with dimensions, quantities and materials, optimize, then export the result back out as CSV, SVG, PNG or PDF.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The optimizer runs locally in your browser and keeps working with no connection, which matters in a workshop with weak Wi-Fi.
