Assembly is where the hours disappear

With parts on the floor the real questions show up: what gets screwed first, is the back rebated or nailed on, is this shelf fixed or on supports? Get the order wrong and half the carcass comes apart again.

Fabivo derives the sequence from the model: steps are grouped per module, structure first, internals next, fronts and adjustments last.

What each step contains

Each step is written to be read with busy hands: little text, one diagram, one check.

  • An isometric diagram highlighting the parts involved.
  • The parts by name and size, so you pick the right panel off the pile.
  • The hardware and tools for that step.
  • A concrete check before moving on: square, height, clearance.

Face screws or pocket holes

Pick the joinery and the plan adapts: markings move, hole positions change and, where it matters, so does the order of parts. Screwing through the face is not the same sequence as driving pocket screws from inside.

Print it or keep it on your phone

The build plan prints or saves to PDF next to the cutting report, so you can work off paper at the bench or off a propped-up phone — offline included.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the instructions come from?

From your model: the panels, their contacts and their supports. It is not a generic template, so the plan changes when the furniture changes.

Is the hardware listed?

Yes. Every step names the hardware and tools it needs, so you can lay everything out before starting.

Does it help when two people build together?

That is exactly what the per-step checks are for: they make explicit what to verify before fixing, which is where two-person builds lose the most time.

Can I use it if someone else cuts the parts?

Yes. Model the piece and generate the build plan even when your supplier cuts the panels.
